The circuit board pen is made from a genuine printed circuit board (PCB). A very thin PCB is wrapped around a brass tube for stability and encapsulated in a clear acrylic resin. Once the resin has cured, the material is placed on a lathe to “turn” it round where it is polished to a smooth glass finish. There are several colors of circuit boards available. The traditional green is the most popular, but black, sky blue, white, and orange are also available. The turning process will sometimes cut or polish into the PCB components, and this can leave a slight bump on the finish. You will not easily see these bumps, but you can feel where the components will show up on the surface of the pen. These sections really own up to the authenticity of the PCB used in the pen.

A constant stock of all variants is not always available. We will make these to order as required if stock is not available. A two week turn around may be required for the manufacture of your desired configuration.
